Everything You Need to Know About Technology
Technology is anything that can be invented, created or developed by humans.
Think about it, the internet is technology. We can use it to
surf the Internet, communicate, check the weather or check your e-mails. The more
people use the internet, the better.
Over the past century, technology has moved from a hobby to
something businesses use on a daily basis. The e-B2B.org portal is one of them.
Today technology can help us lead better lives. Technology
can help us live longer, healthier lives.
Today we can live anywhere, be anywhere, do anything.
I know it sounds like a fancy way of saying,
"Technology is a way of life," but that's what we say,
"Technology is a way of life."
One of the great things about the technology is that it
comes in many different types. Today we have so many ways to use technology
that we never thought possible.
TechSmarti is another place to test technology
We can use technology in different ways, and our gadgets and
devices keep getting better. We have things like pocket watches, typewriters,
landlines, sewing machines and the list goes on and on.
Did you know there were typewriters so big a man had to
stand on a stool and use them? Or that landlines had been around for so long
that people had to stand in front of a door and talk to them? Or that it took
an illiterate person to write a letter?
All of those things were technology that we can use today.
Even with a typewriter, you had to type the letters one by one, but we don't
even have to.
A few years ago I saw a kiosk in the local library where you could write a letter and send it directly to someone who could write the lyrics for you.
I'm trying to find out that the word technology can mean
many things. Technology can help you have a better life, technology can help us
communicate, and it can help us control the weather.
A few years ago I heard a gentleman at a supermarket
checkout say: “That doesn't sound like a lot of food.
He compared the number of fruits and vegetables in his
basket with the number of fruits and vegetables in his basket.
I looked at him and said, "Don't be fooled by his
technology or his thoughts on what you would like to see in your basket, that's
a lot of food."
It was pretty funny, but also very true. We have so many
wonderful things available today that we didn't have years ago.
A few weeks ago I was talking to someone and they asked me
what I was seeing on TV. I told them I was watching "Chopped" and
they asked me what it was.
I told them it was a cooking show and they said they were
going to see "The Great American Food Fight".
I wonder why I am watching this show. Do people really watch
this show? Why am I watching this program?
It wasn't until later that I realized what was going on. My
TV and my TV technology (Smart TV) connected to your TV and TV technology
connected to your TV technology.
To me, that meant that all of these people were just like
me. We are connected to technology and therefore the television programs we
watch and the dishes they prepare would not have been possible without
technology.
